How the rankings work
Pasties & Pints is built around live Best of Cornwall rankings. Places are compared with others in the same category, and the rankings change as new places are added or existing ones improve or slip.
The scoring stays behind the scenes. You see the position, the judgement behind it and the useful information that explains why.
A famous place is not automatically the best place.

I may work with businesses through invitations, partnerships, sponsorships or other commercial arrangements. If something relevant has been provided or paid for, I’ll say so.
None of that buys praise, inclusion or a better ranking.

Rankings that keep growing
The rankings grow as more places are properly assessed. I’m not going to fill a table with places I haven’t looked at properly just to make it appear complete.
The main Cornwall rankings will keep expanding, with more specific rankings such as pasties and fish and chips added when there is enough proper coverage to make them useful.
I’d rather rank fewer places properly than pad out a table.
The website and YouTube have different jobs.
The videos are about the journey, the place and what it is actually like to visit. The website is where I rank places, explain the judgement and keep those rankings useful as Cornwall changes.
