Pasties & Pints is my Cornwall guide, built on real visits, plain judgement, and useful local advice.
In this Cornwall guide, I write about beaches, walks, pubs, towns, attractions and places to stay, with the focus on what actually matters once you get there: how busy it gets, how awkward the access is, whether it is worth the effort, what the atmosphere is really like, and when a place works best.
That means less postcard Cornwall and more useful Cornwall. The beach that looks brilliant but feels cramped by late morning. The coastal walk that is worth it in clear weather but hard going in a strong wind. The pub with the better view in photos than in practice. The nearby option that gives you a better day out.
The aim is simple: to make this Cornwall guide useful when you are choosing places based on what you are actually getting, not just what they look like online.
