Pasties & Pints is a Cornwall guide to help you find genuinely good things to do in Cornwall — with practical write-ups and videos that show you what it’s really like on the day.

I’m Cornish, and I’ve seen the same things catch people out again and again: turning up to a full car park, underestimating the walk in, getting the tide wrong, or ending up somewhere that’s heaving when you wanted quiet.

Cornwall’s brilliant, but it can be hard work too — traffic in season, higher prices in the hotspots, changeable weather, and plenty of places where access isn’t as simple as the photos make it look.

What this site is

This isn’t brochure fluff. It’s built around the details that make or break a day out.

I visit places in person, take notes on the bits people actually need, then film it and write it up clearly: parking, access, dog rules, tides, crowds, loos, and what’s nearby.
